SPEC SCOPE & OPTIONS

What We Fix

Most ironwork lasts decades, but time, weather, and accidents happen. A railing gets hit by a car. A gate hinge breaks. Rust eats through a section of fencing. We inspect the damage, assess whether repair or replacement makes sense, and fix it to match your existing work.

We also handle modifications: adding a gate opener to a manual gate, extending a fence line, upgrading an old railing design, or stiffening a section that's gone wobbly. If it's steel or iron, we can fix it.

Common Repairs

Rust & Corrosion: surface rust cleaned and repainted, or sections replaced if structural integrity is compromised.

Broken Welds: re-welded and reinforced.

Bent or Damaged Sections: straightened, reinforced, or replaced depending on severity and cost.

Hardware & Hinges: rusted latches, broken hinges, and fasteners replaced with quality hardware that lasts.

FAQ COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked

Can you repair rusted ironwork?

Yes. Rust damage to iron railings, gates, and other metalwork can be repaired or replaced. We assess the extent of the rust (surface rust, pitting, or structural damage) and recommend either repair with rust treatment and protective coating, or full section replacement. Once fixed, we apply protective finishes to keep it from coming back. Call (615) 259-2444 for an inspection.

How quickly can repairs be done?

Most minor repairs can be completed within 1-2 weeks. Urgent safety repairs, like a broken railing or an unstable gate, get priority. Call us right away if you have a safety concern. We'll assess the issue during a site visit and give you a realistic timeline.

Can you match the style of existing ironwork?

Yes. We inspect your existing railing, gate, or metalwork and match the style, dimensions, and finish. A single baluster, a section of railing, a rebuilt gate, or an extended fence line: we make the repair match the original.

How much does railing repair typically cost?

Repairs are often our most affordable work. A simple weld fix or rust treatment costs a fraction of a new installation, while larger replacements cost more. The best way to know is a free site visit estimate. Call (615) 259-2444.
